Packaging Design
Overview
Amaraya is a modern skincare brand concept created to address the need for skincare products that balance practicality with an effortless aesthetic. Amaraya fills a unique space in the skincare market, targeting women who live fast-paced lifestyles who seek simple yet effective skincare solutions. Amaraya’s branding is cool, minimal, and functional but with a subtle hint of playfulness.
This project focuses on designing packaging for 3 skincare products. The goal is to create designs that look good on a bathroom counter rather than adding clutter, while also maintaining brand recognition.

Problem
In the saturated skincare market, many product designs fall into one of two extremes: overly clinical with sterile, uninspired packaging, or excessively decorative and cluttered with trends that quickly become outdated. For Amaraya, the challenge lies in creating packaging that doesn’t contribute to visual noise on a bathroom counter, yet still feels premium, modern, and brand-forward.
Solution
I used Amaraya's distinctive bold logotype wrapped vertically across each product, acting as both branding and a dynamic graphic element. The primary packaging is clean and unadorned except for this signature branding, making each product feel like a curated object rather than everyday clutter. Neutral tones and semi-transparent materials support the "barely-there" aesthetic, while the vertical logotype adds energy and cohesion across different product forms.
